What about the concentration camps (RPF or Rehabilitation Project Force) run by the Scientology organisation where an unknown but substantial number of people have died? Their ostensible purpose is thought reform; their practical purpose is to get as much work as possible out of ‘offenders’. There are at least two in the States, one in England, one in Copenhagen, one on the MV Freewinds (currently in dry dock at Curacao, its home port) and detachments everywhere hard manual labour is needed.

I have read that the Jews believed that if they sinned against God, they would be punished by God. The SS exploited this by giving them several choices: all choices led to Belsen but it made it seem an inevitable fate. I feel this explains a great deal about the mind-set of the secular state of Israel.

Of course. What’s your point? Gary is not casting doubt on whether everybody was gassed. And even I am perfectly happy to concede that not everybody was gassed. I’m firmly with getonwithitgawd on that one. But that is the issue here: the intent was clearly to get rid of them as cheaply as possible, ideally permanently (killing them) and, if possible, getting something out of them. The proposed and implemented mechanisms changed in response to circumstance.

Well yeah not everyone was gassed. Alot of them died of say, starvation, toxic shock, liver failure, bullets, bombs, beating, being shoved into ovens and cooked alive, some were boiled, frozen, etc. in dubious experiments… and from there it only gets weirder.
The ones who got gassed probably got off ‘easy’ (…) compared to quite a good number of others. The hydrogen cyanide mixture the nazis used can kill in minutes in small concintrations. Untreated Liver failure can be months of agony.
