I just said this below – but think about it america… single payer system… imagine this:
say there’s 300 million people in America.. for health care – you get taxed 1/300 millionth of the total health bill… wouldn’t it be better to have a constant normal tax.. than abrupt hellacious bills when you get sick? I know, I know.. scarey socialism! But it would mean no bankruptcies from a health condition.. id rather $20 a week than $1000 one random day. our system sucks. – serious.

let me point out.. no one is proposing ‘Free’ health care anyway.. – just to clarify.. but hell.. I don’t see a problem with free health care either.. for the same reason – let’s put it this way.. if you pay 1/300 millionth of the nations health care costs in taxes… or just pay for your own health care.. it’s about the same – except you wont get hit with one gigantic bill – instead it’s an even constant rate – and doesn’t cause bankruptcy. – think about it.

A system of crisis is actually the way that many sociologists describe capitalism. Think about it. We are always either in a crisis where there are too many jobs, too few jobs, too much stuff being made, not getting stuff fast enough, depleting a resource, etc. The environmental crisis is just another capitalist crisis.

I watched the story of stuff long before any of these people started talking about it. It’s the most ridiculous piece of crap. It sucked too, since I though it was actually going to be talking about how we got “stuff” like the process of digging crap outta the ground, shipping it, manufacturing it, shipping it some more, then selling it. Gov’t doesn’t provide and ration food, clothes, technology etc, private enterprise supplies it. The “tank thing” means socialsim/communism where the gov’t runs everything and private enterprise doesn’t, where the gov’t rations food etc, Soviet, N Korea style.
