As of today, there are zero new oil refineries on the drawing board or under construction. It’s the main way oil companies use price-control tactics to keep record profits flowing in. In fact, oil companies are on a campaign to buy all the independent refineries, some closing entire towns down-and tossing hundreds of jobs aside. We cannot refine the oil we do have, so SUPPLY is not the main problem. How do we solve this for the America people? Buy hybrid and electric vehicles. Stop buying Tahoes

In fact,our oil companies have been outed by whistleblowers actually EXPORTING DOMESTIC CRUDE out of the USA! The biggest problem is lack of enough REFINERIES. hey man fellow american here thats for drilling now but i just wanted to let you know a few things incase you did’nt. When they say drill here and drill now alot of american people dont relize its gonna take 7 years before we see a drop of that oil, and also gingrich and mccain paint this picture like its gonna bring the price way down but the days of a 1.00 a gallon are over, so really we should drill but this is in no way going to fix the problem

The U.S. government doesn’t drill for oil. Do you understand? Under no circumstance, if we were to grant ANWR or off-shore drilling rights to Exxon or Shell, do we get OUR WON oil. It doesn’t work that way. Say Exxon opens up the extraction process here, they would reap all profits from oil circulated on the world market and the U.S. would get a negotiable percentage. The oil would not go directly to the American people. “The oil in Anwr can supply our country for sixty yrs” Its not that simple
