Dr. John R. Christy is Professor and Director of the Earth System Science Center at the University of Alabama in Huntsville where he began studying global climate issues in 1987. In November 2000 Gov. Don Siegelman appointed him to be Alabama’s State Climatologist. In 1989 Dr. Roy W. Spencer, a NASA/Marshall scientist, and Christy developed a global temperature data set from microwave data observed from satellites beginning in 1979. For this achievement, the Spencer-Christy team was awarded NASA’s Medal for Exceptional Scientific Achievement in 1991. In 1996, they were selected to receive a Special Award by the American Meteorological Society “for developing a global, precise record of earth’s temperature from operational polar-orbiting satellites, fundamentally advancing our ability to monitor climate.”

For a can of tomatoes for example can travel up to 35,000 KMS to get to you’re plate. Here is how it works.
The iron ore is extracted out of the mines here in Australia and is sent to china to a foundry to be made into a can. The can is then sent to Italy to have the tomatoes put in it and sealed. Trees are felled in Canada and made into paper pulp and sent to Japan in reels. The ink for the labels are imported from germany to Japan to be printed. The printed labels are then sent to Italy to be put on the cans. The cans are then exported back to Australia. From the shipping docks in Sydney the cans are then sent via road or rail to all other states to distribution points for other trucks to take it to you’re local store. You then drive the can home.

I know imports and exports are what help economies and such, However if we are on the brink of global devastation as these clowns would have us believe, Then why are we the victim of this scam when so many areas could be addressed before making us suffer. Australia has all the resources to make and produce those cans, So why the needless emissions?
