Al Gore – Reflecting on Climate Change and Global Warming
I invite you to take 10 minutes to reflect on climate change and Global Warming. Global warming is the increase in the average temperature of the Earth’s near-surface air and oceans in recent decades and its projected continuation. Global average air temperature near the Earth’s surface rose 0.74 ± 0.18 °C (1.3 ± 0.32 °F) during the past century. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) concludes, “most of the observed increase in globally averaged temperatures since the mid-20th century is very likely due to the observed increase in anthropogenic greenhouse gas concentrations,” which leads to warming of the surface and lower atmosphere by increasing the greenhouse effect. Natural phenomena such as solar variation combined with volcanoes have probably had a small warming effect from pre-industrial times to 1950, but a small cooling effect since 1950. These basic conclusions have been endorsed by at least 30 scientific societies and academies of science, including all of the national academies of science of the major industrialized countries. The American Association of Petroleum Geologists is the only scientific society that rejects these conclusions, and a few individual scientists also disagree with parts of them.
Climate change refers to the variation in the Earth’s global climate or in regional climates over time. It describes changes in the variability or average state of the atmosphere over time scales ranging from decades to millions of years. These changes can be caused by processes internal to the Earth, external forces (e.g. variations in sunlight intensity) or, more recently, human activities.
In recent usage, especially in the context of environmental policy, the term “climate change” often refers to changes in modern climate which according to the IPCC are 90-95% likely to have been in part caused by human action. Consequently the term anthropogenic climate change is frequently adopted; this phenomenon is also referred to in the mainstream media as global warming. In some cases, the term is also used with a presumption of human causation, as in the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). The UNFCCC uses “climate variability” for non-human caused variations.[1]
For information on temperature measurements over various periods, and the data sources available, see temperature record. For attribution of climate change over the past century, see attribution of recent climate change.

The sun is the engine behind climate changes, not CO2. The other planets in the solar system are being affected just the same as earth. Al Gore is a fraud and his movie has various errors and false information in it.

Yes, ok, you’re …
Yes, ok, you’re right, and I don’t completely agree with him either, but the ice that is above sea level WILL cause the sea levels to rise, as it does not take up any volume when it is above the sea level.
However, once it melts, it will collect with the rest of the water, increasing the total volume.

Does the thermostat on your furnace/ac work according to the “global average”?
Global Warming …
Global Warming would NOT in fact rise Global sea levels.
Think of it this way if you put a bottle of water in a freezer, the water in the bottle actually expands rather than contracts. Which would mean if all the worlds ice caps melted the sea levels in our oceans would decrease. Ice weighs more than Water.

Climate change …
Climate change can’t happen without loosing our existing economies.
Climate change is inevitable, and requires the loss of about 30% of existing Earth’s population.
This causes various planetary “instabilities”.
You make the next sentence:…

i dont give a shit!!!!!! global warming is bs !!!!!!!! prove it. you cant. stupid idiot liberals!! mike savage hero
The scientists are …
The scientists are in both cases slandered and ridiculed. The oil and carbon clique even bribes scientists and the media to distort and water down facts. This works well because people generallly don’t want to ponder any inconvenient things.
Like those who hadn’t seen the volcano erupt before, we haven’t seen how the climate will abruptly change. We don’t believe before we see and seeing the climate change is too late for fixing its consequences. We have only ca. 10 years left, maybe even less.
Scientists say that …
Scientists say that it will happen and that it will happen soon. They foresee serious impacts on everything.
So, those who doubt it, I will just say that the only uncertainty is when exactly and how exactly it will happen. The situation is already so bad that something serious will certainly happen but that we still have time to save our planet if we act now.
The mountain seems …
The mountain seems quiet but the harmonic tremors continue. Smoke starts to rise from the mountain. The businessmen of the locality want to sue the scientists because they spoil their businesses disbelieving the possibility of the disaster.
The next stage is a tephra eruption which lasts a day. Some parts of locality around the mountain are covered by a blanket of sticky and very dirty grey ash, but the resort area and the luxury apartments were saved because of the wind.
The next stage is …
The next stage is obviously the pyroclastic flows and the destruction of the community. LOL
This analogy with a volcano may be silly and naive to most of you but the situation is quite similar to the debate about the climate change.
The most noteworthy difference is that while we are defenceless with a volcano, we perhaps still could avoid a drastic climate change.
The most noteworthy similarity is that the mountain gives warnings just like the the climate does, and that we don’t react.
You are hoax …
You are hoax yourself Mr.Azureim. Shame on you!
I will speak with …
I will speak with metaphors now.
Living with the climate change is like below the slopes of a volcano which has not erupted in historical times. Maybe real estate business has built luxury apartments on its slopes and a new high-tech center is built in its ravine directly on the path of the pyroclastic flows 3000 years ago. Then suddenly the volcaologists come because of “harmonic tremors” in the area. The locals don’t understand these signs, obviously. Just like in “Dante’s Peak”.

I do not see how any human forces will avert the cyclic changes, the horsepower required for such seems as astronomical as the cause is astronomoical (Mars ice caps melting, too)
