Before EVERY recession -excepting 1938- the FED put TOO HIGH interest rates. In 1982 the fedfunds rate was brought to about 20% creating a HUGE recession. But when the FED brought SHORT TERM interest rates -the Fed Funds rate- to reasonable rates, the MEGA CRISIS STAGFLATION was over.
